Choosing a format
JPG is best for photos. PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency for screenshots, logos and diagrams. WebP is usually 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same quality and works in every current browser.
Resize by exact pixels (with or without keeping the aspect ratio) or by percentage.
Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser with JavaScript; the file never leaves your device, so it is safe for contracts, IDs and other private documents.
Can it open HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Only if your browser can (Safari can). Otherwise share the photo as JPG from the Photos app first.
