Size, colours and error correction

Fill in the details — your QR code appears here.

Up to 2,331 characters at this error-correction level.

Static codes that never expire

The code holds your link, UPI details or Wi-Fi settings directly, so it keeps working forever and nothing passes through our servers. Many “free” generators make dynamic codes that redirect through their site and stop working when a trial ends.

Printing tips

  • Keep the code dark on a light background, with the white border (quiet zone) around it.
  • Print at least 2 × 2 cm; for posters, roughly 1 cm of code per 10 cm of scanning distance.
  • Use error correction Q or H for stickers and outdoor prints; use the SVG download for sharp printing.
  • Scan the printed code with two different phones before printing many copies.

UPI payment codes

A UPI code follows the NPCI upi://pay format: your UPI ID, name, and optionally a fixed amount and note. Leave the amount empty for a shop counter so customers type their own. Always test with a ₹1 payment first.

Questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static codes: the information is inside the code itself, so there is no account, no redirect and no expiry.

Is my Wi-Fi password or UPI ID sent anywhere?

No. The code is made in your browser; nothing you type is uploaded.

Why is my code not scanning?

Usually low contrast, a light code on a dark background, a missing white border, or printing too small. Use the default black on white, keep the border, and print larger.

How much text fits?

Up to about 2,900 characters at the lowest error correction, but short codes scan far more easily. For long text, link to a web page instead.
